Dekle 3/15
My girlfriend and I fished out of Dekle this past Sunday from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and put 6 keeper trout in the cooler, while releasing 3 shorts. We started out North of Dekle in front of Jabo, in about 6' of water, the water was relatively clear there and we caught 2 trout. We then moved back in front of Dekle just North of the bird racks where the water was much darker and we caught the other 4 keepers along with the 3 shorts in about 6'-7' of water. Also, had a large shark 7'-8' take a swipe at my Gulp New Penny shrimp, only to just swim off like it wasn't worth his time. We fished with the 3" Gulp New Penny shrimp about 30" under a Cajun Thunder popping cork. I tried a Top Dog plug and a Catch 2000 but had no luck. The weather was nice, about 82 degrees, partly cloudy, wind coming from the Northwest at about 5 mph. It was a great day on the Gulf and with the temps we have been having, I see the fishing really starting to pick up.

Good report, glad yall caught some. That area you fished is one of my favorites, I'm ready to get down there and try 'em.
