Shell Point 3/28
Got out for a few hours with my son on Saturday for our first trip of the year. Forecast was for 5-10 mph wind, but the reality was more like 15-20. The tides were weak and the wind had the water blown out so it was pretty skinny. The water was stained with about 18 inches of visibilty. We fished some protected water and managed a short blue, a spanish, and two 16.5" trout before we quit. Saw a bunch of ducks and had a cool encounter with a bald eagle that had caught a mullet. water temp was 64 after the cold front.

Thanks. I got a report from Econfina over the weekend that wasn't as good as yours, 2 trout in 2 days fishing. The cold front stopped the bite, hopefully it will get better this week.
Yours in the South

Same here. 2 days of fishing St Marks with 1 flounder. Had my 12 year old son and he almost froze Saturday morning.
