Penn International 975CSLD Baitcasting Combo SOLD

Post by silverking »

Here's the chance to own a mint commemorative Penn 975CSLD International Baitcasting reel matched to a Penn International PI1530C70 graphite heavy rod. The reel was specially engraved to recognize Salt Water Sportsman magazine winning the Henry Luce cover of the year award in 2005. This outfit has only been used twice.

Both reel and rod are in excellent, 10/10 condition with no marks, scratches or blemishes whatsoever. The reel is loaded with 30-pound braided line and is protected by a nylon reel cover.

The reel is a Penn International 975CSLD bait caster, with two stainless steel ball bearings, rugged HT100 drag system, quick take-apart design, centrifugal cast control, infinite anti-reverse and stainless steel drive gears. It is the lever drag model with the famous International gold finish with stainless steel reel mount. It was made in the USA. The reel comes with the original box, sealed spare parts including a reel clamp and maintenance tool, plus oil, the manual and parts schematic.

The graphite rod is a 7-foot heavy action Penn International with premium full cork handle with trigger and premium guides and reel seat. It is rated for 15-30 pound test line and 1/2- to 2 1/2-ounce lures. It is an ideal combo for grouper/snapper, tarpon, amberjack, dorado, sailfish and sharks either as a troller or live bait rig.

Located in Tallahassee. SOLD
