Ecofina fishing 24th-26th.

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

Fishing CPA invited me too go with him and three other friends of his for a three day trip. I was like sure. We got down Friday about 6:15 and headed out. Image. https://vimeo.com/126052220. It was a beautiful sunrise running out the river. Image. We went down by hickory mound and started in close. I caught a hound fish straight off and then Fishing CPA pulls in this nice trout on top water. Image. The morning Friday was very slow with a stiff breeze and 78 degree dirty water. I hooked what I thought was a good fish and got a juvenile cobia. Image. Talked to Blue Spinner on the radio and it sounded like he was not doing much either. We ended up finding the other guys with us on a spot we wanted to try. Image. They had not caught much either. Around 2:00 the bite turned on and we finally put some fish in the box. Image. The bite only lasted an hour but they only wanted live shrimp. We fished till around 4:00 and headed in to grill some steaks. Image. Cleaned the fish and spoke with Blue Spinner at the cleaning station. Sat morn the weather was white capping right off the bat. We tried getting close and trying top water. I cast to a point in the grass. And BAM fish on! Fought it up to the boat and dang. This was not what I wanted. Image. Ryan was in our boat today. Image. And he caught the three trout and a flounder that came in the boat. Daniel and I caught this Image. And this. Image. Man what is up with all the dang sail cats? Sat night we all went in and ate at Savannah's. Got up this morn to small craft advisories so we packed up and headed home. This is the two days for the other boat. Image. Ryan caught most of these. Three of the trout and a flounder in pic Ryan caught in our boat sat. We had fun just wish the weather had been better. Hope to get to go again.

Good to see and talk to you. Fishing CPA's boat that we were fishing out of, is the one you stopped to helps us with that 1st time he took it out. He rebuilt the motor himself and it's been great ever since.
