HI ALL, JUST CAME BACK FROM THE LEGEION HALL BREAKFAST, THE CROWD KEEPS GETTING SMALLER EVERY YEAR. THE LEGEION PUTS ON A BREAKFAST FOR THE VETS. OF ALL WARS AND NOW SERVING VETS EACH YEAR WHICH IS ABOUT THE ONLY RECONITION WE SEEM TO GET ANYMORE. SAW A NICE PROGRAM LAST NIGHT ON T/V HONORING ALL VETS OF ALL WARS. KINDA GOT TICKED OFF AT CHURCH YESTERDAY , DID NOT SING THE FIRST SONG ABOUT HONOR OR COUNTRY, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I CAN EVER REMEMBER WHEN WE DID NOT SING GOD BLESS AMERICA, OR MY COUNTRY IS OF THEE TO HONOR THE VETS.

God bless all the veterans today and especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice by dying for freedom. God bless the families of those left behind. Thank God for our freedom.
We did recognize by name those who had died while in service at our church where I am Interim. We also sang patriotic songs.

Yes. I hated it when I had to serve during Vietnam, but later was glad I did. We could use Universal Service these days.
