Mornin' everyone!

Thinking about heading down to the lighthouse for the Kemp's Ridley sea turtle release after lunch.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

SPINNER, WE STILL HAVE A WHITE MOTTLE PONY, FOUND OUT THROUGH ANIMAL CONTROL THAT THE PONY BELONGS TO A LADY ABOUT A MILE DOWN THE ROAD FROM US, ANIMAL CONTROL CAN NOT HANDLE HORSE'S, PONIES, OR ANY OTHER LARGE ANIMAL, THEY JUST WORK WITH CATS, DOGS, RABBITS ETC. SMALL ANIMALS. HE SAID THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT CHARLES GRAHAM, LOCAL VET. AND SEE IF HE COULD TRANQUILIZE THE LITTLE PONY AND GET HIM BACK TO HIS OWNER. I AM AFRAID THAT LITTLE RASCAL MIGHT RUN OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR EVEN WORSE. I CAN GET WITHIN ABOUT 20 FT. OF THE PONY BUT DO NOT KNOW IF I COULD THROW A LASSO THAT FAR. I THINK THE IDEA OF GETTING CHARLES TO COME OUT AND TRANQUILIZE THE PONY IS THE BEST IDEA.

One wonders why the Lady down the road who owns the pony doesn't walk over, put a rope halter on her pony and walk it home?

I HAVE WONDERED WHY SHE DOESN'T JUST COME AND GET HIM. MY FRIEND THAT LIVES NEAR HER HAS OFFERED TO HELP. MAYBE SHE DOESN'T WANT TO FEED HIM ANYMORE. I DO NOT KNOW HER. PRICE OF FEED LIKE IT IS WE MAY SEE MORE AND MORE OF THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENING.
