Yates Creek Rd
Has anyone used the Yates Creek Rd ramp in Perry recently? Never used it before, but thinking about heading that way to scallop this weekend and would like to avoid the crowd at Keaton Beach Marina. Easy enough to get in and out of there with my 17' Key West? Thanks in advance for the help!

I wouldn't recommend it on a low tide with that sized boat. I run a 1860 Tracker aluminum with a jet foot on it and I've bumped bottom on a low tide.

Yeah no... don't. Ride to spring warrior on a upper tide or hit keaton and make the ride...
Re: Yates Creek Rd
I've been in and out of that creek and it is not a creek for boats that draw more than about 6" unless you have a good tide. Couple of bars at the entrance that have caused a sand bar build up.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Thanks for the advice fellas. Come to find out, the Mrs. wants to hit St. Marks anyways in hopes of prettier water. Hopefully we'll be able to pick up enough for dinner for 4 of us...
