Rough start to a good day 8/22/2015
Left the house at just after 5:30 do to crew being late. Had to stop not far down the road so anchor boy could chum up some crawdads in the ditch. To much of this the night before. Went well after that until we arrived at the bait hole and well pump wouldn't run. Decided to make the trip with what I thought I could keep alive and that worked out fine. Fished from 60 ft. back in to 30 ft. Caught gags at all depths. Here is the chum machine with the two largest of the day which he caught.
If you have ever heard of puke and rally this dude did it as he caught the biggest and the most as well as handling anchor duty for most of the time. We even found some clear water on a ledge in 30 ft where we were able to shoot a couple of gags and some hogs and mangos for a bonus. Here is a picture of the days catch before the crew made filets out of them.-

Nice work. I've never heard of using craw dads for grouper bait. Thanks for the report

LOL Salty. I don't think he was lookin for crawdads. I think he was giving them a puke bath.
Sounds like a good day.

Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?

Salty Gator is definitely not from Wacissa and not familiar with the local vernacular.
I am not either but I speak both Wacissa and Waukeenah. (I married a native)

Sometimes the best cure to a hangover is catching fish. On the other hand, if I was puking I would have been skeptical about stepping foot on a boat! Awesome catch!

You forgot to mention he had to catch the live bait out of the well with his bare hands all day due to someone forgetting the bait dip net
