SGI/Apalach received more than 14 inches of rain in the recent storms. Bay is going to still be muddy, I suspect.

Water will be warmer at Crystal River, plus you have the chance for snook. I fished with Capt. Dan Clymer down there in late September and we caught a couple over 30 inches and had a 20-pounder swipe and miss a suspending plug. :thumb:

Crystal river is really producing right now lots of trout and redfish. There have been some snook caught but with this last cold front they may be turning off. The trout bite is really good right now.

At Apalachicola the river is up (12'), the wind has been blowin' hard out of the NNE, and the trout bite is off.

I've heard the power plant discharge area is supposed to be really good for fishing, near Ozello Trail.

Nice looking red.

And Earl I haven't fished the PC area this fall, deciding instead to concentrate all my attention on the Apalachicola area, but I have gotten reports from a couple of guys that say the bite over around PC is down from what it had been.
