Longest trout I ever caught

Fished Econfina area Saturday with my brother. First trout in the boat 28.5 inches long. Made the third trout at 25 inches look small. Finished

the day with our limit of ten. The largest legal 5 weighed in at 15 pounds even. The second largest weighed in at 12.5 pounds. Although the longest trout weighed only 5.5 pounds. I caught some 27 inchers the last 3 years that weighed over 6 pounds. Oh well!

WTG Steve. That is a nice trout. My biggest is a 27.5 incher and only weighed 5.75 pounds also from Aucilla. Also caught my fish about the same time as yours so I assume they must have just spawned out.
