Fished the rising tide today with a buddy. Tried everything in the box and even resorted to dragging live baits on the bottom, but never got a bite. Did get to see a bald eagle. Tough day again.

Where did you fish?

Same experience. Me and two other friends threw every jig we had and nothing for 4-5 hours. Fished probably 12 different spots including trolling the river. Not even one bite. Last two trips I caught multiple keepers and a bunch of small ones. It looked like they were there on my radar, but they sure weren't biting. Every one else we talked to had same experience. It happens.

It was nice being on the water and enjoying time with a couple of buddies. The grouper sandwiches we enjoyed at the Riverside Cafe were excellent!
