Catfish

Looking for some spots around Tallahassee to catch catfish. Prefer fishing from the shore (can't afford a boat!). Went to Talquin today and totally busted at Coe's Landing and Jack Fause Landing. Thank you in advance for your help.

They have been catching them at the spillway on HWY 90 Lake Miccosukee. You can also fish off of the basin damn on the North end at Reeves landing.

What were you using for bait? My family loves to fish Talquin for Catfish and never seems to have a problem catching fish. The have totally went exclusively to the stink bait rigs that use the peanut butter looking stuff. I grew up on Talquin and we used cut bait but the stink bait is by far the best. Last time I went down I caught 6 in the middle of the day from a dock closed to Ingram's Marina. Only fished about 2 hours.

Go stuff. I will try the stink bait next time. Basically just trying to find decent places to fish from the shore.
