Just got back- see my post Venice Extravaganza. It is an amazing fishery. We used Captain Patrick Dickinson of Dixie Riverside charters 504-329-2224. Great captain and great guy. He fishes out of a 22' Blackjack-very comfortable boat and he has all the toys (dual power poles etc.) Fishing with an inshore guide, having 3 clients in the boat is the most economical way. All the guides charge the same fee. Live bait is extra. Lunch not included. Plan to fish a minimum of two days because of weather. You can take your own boat, but the delta is a huge area and it all looks the same. Fish clearly had preferences.
