Coming to St. Marks next week 5/26-5/30
Coming to St. Marks to see family and hopefully do some fishing next week. Looking to see if there might be someone willing to take me out fishing in the flats for a day for a reasonable fee. I have never fished this area and don't plan on bringing gear. I know I can go do a charter but thought a local might be interested in it to. Hit me up if you are, be looking for Friday or Saturday morning till whenever they stop biting in the afternoon or evening.

I could be wrong, but it don't think it is legal for a non charter captain to accept money to take you out. If you want to hire a guide for a day inshore, try St marks outfitters, they have a few guides that know the area. Good luck

True. If someone is running trips for a fee, they need to be licensed by the US Coast Guard and also have a FWC charter fishing license as well as liability insurance.Salty Gator wrote:I could be wrong, but it don't think it is legal for a non charter captain to accept money to take you out. Give St. Marks Outfitters a call. Capt. Mike McNamara or Capt. Steve Hobbs can put you on fish without the hassle.
