Looking for a new Marina

Post by SaltyDon »

Need input from the forum on pros and cons of storing my boat and fishing out of Panacea vs. Carabelle. I live in Tallahassee and looking to keep my driving distance and time to water down a little as possible. I know you can get to deeper water faster out of Carabelle than Panacea but I usually do not go more than 20 miles out. Any advice between the two areas would be greatly appreciated.

I have had a great experience at Rock Landing for the last five years.
The new (a few years ago) owners have made lots of improvements and do what they say they will.
The tiki bar is fun too ;-)

My only complaint is they do not carry live bait. They do have frozen and Crums is close but I wish they kept shrimp and pinfish at the dock.

I liked it so much, I bought the company ;-)
