Few years back when I purchased my current home site, the place had multiple sets of automatic gates but with the gates down due to storm damage / bad driver damage.
Got two fixed up and put them where I wanted them but was left with a set of heavy-duty arms that I didn't use because I didn't want to put up gates at the location where they had been. While the gates were down from this location, I CAN SAY WITH 100% certainty the arms were operational when removed because remotes tied to the gates we did put back up still triggered them to open and shut.
Units are about 2 1/2' long and about the width of a 4 x 4. Guessing they weigh about 30 pounds each so would need to be mounted to anchored structure. Also would need to invest in control unit and remotes.
Doing garage cleaning and don't want them to keep hogging space unused. Can take them to the dump, but feel weird doing so knowing they were operational. Nobody wants them, will be taking them to dump later in the week. Please PM me if interested.

Re: FREE Heavy Duty Gate Arms
Darn, if they were 12 V I would take them. Doing a gate in the near future, but no AC there.
The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.
