Cedar Key

First time to Cedar Key. Staying at Sunset Isle July 15-22. Looking to put the wife on some Trout, Redfish and maybe a few things on the reefs if the seas aren't too rough. Any advice you can give a newcomer to the area? I have a Sea Hunt Triton 207. I can get into about 18-24" but no trolling motor, so crusing the flats isn't too much of an option, but we are willing to get out and do what it takes to get to them if that's an option in the area.

Just fished 4 days in CK over the 4th weekend we did best on trout waccassa side of snake island and on outside of west bank on the outside of snake island. fishing was slow but if you can try Corrigan reef reds are being caught there . also around north key o. bars.on mid incoming tide to 1st 3 hrs. of outgoing. One of my guide friends had a customer catch a 39 inch red this past week and they also caught a snook. give me a pm
