Opening weekend was great my son got one on sat and I got one on sun. Image. Image. With meat in the freezer it was time to look for a big buck. There are plenty around so we were hopeful. Image. Image. Image. Image. Lots to choose from I had a friend out and he managed to connect on a fat 6pt. Image. Well we hunted hard for the remainder of the season and saw a lot of deer just none that we wanted to shoot. We could only get a big buck and we aren't shooting does. Image. Image. Image. No son don't shoot the decoy! Image. Image. So far I know that a big 10 made it so next year should be great. I love spending time in the stand with my son and alone when he not go. But now thoughts turn to fishing.

Was a strange season with the deer being mostly nocturnal. But lots of deer for next year.
