The Storm 360GT Search Baits have several cool features including a large downturned paddle tail and body ridges to really put out some serious thump and vibration. The "neck" has a pre-formed hole and the back has dot indicators to guide the hook placement. The head is hard plastic with an integrated weight and rattle. They come in a variety of colors and several sizes. The larger ones look like they'd be great for sight-fishing cobia. When checking on-line, I see they're now offering versions with a wire weed guard too.
The first time I fished them over the holidays I was using the Pearl Ice in 1/8-ounce size. Caught 50 trout (mostly 14-15 inches but a limit of legal fish up to 18 inches as well) on two bodies (the first one was eventually shredded from all the strikes), plus a couple flounder, couple sea bass and a rat red. The second time I tried it I caught several keeper reds and trout just to prove it wasn't a fluke. Casts well and really allows you to cover a lot of water. Can be fished fast to create a surface wake or you can swim it slower so it tracks over the top of the submerged grass/oysters.
Available direct from Rapala or several tackle outlets are now carrying them. Start around $5.99 for a jig head and three bodies. There will be a few in my tackle bag from now on.

And no, I'm not sponsored by Storm or Rapala. But I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
