I got on the water around 8:30 and headed out to a few spots I had marked last June to try to catch some trout for dinner. I could have been back on the trailer by 10 with my limit of trout. All the holes I had marked had trout on them. lots of 14.5 inchers but some 20 plus inchers to. All in 4.5 to 6 feet of water and in broken bottom. The fish were in the sand holes but tight to the grass line facing into the tide flow. It was nice to get tired of catching fish again. Nuclear chick gulp shrimp bounced off the grass into the sand holes got a strike almost every time. No cork needed. I have to guide three turkey hunts this weekend so I won't get to yank any lips this weekend. Maybe next week.
