MORNIN SPINNER, CC, MM, AND THE REST OF YOU FISHERPERSONS OUT THERE, LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE A HOT ONE TODAY.
WENT OVER TO THE (SWEET GEORGIA CORN) NORTH OF VADA YESTERDAY AND GOT A COUPLE HUNDRED EARS OF THE BEST SWEET CORN YOU WILL EVER PUT YO TEETH IN CORN. CAME HOME AND PREPARED THEM FOR THE FREEZER. NOW THIS MORNING MY RIGHT WRIST IS SO SORE I CAN HARDLY TYPE. WE CUT BOTH ENDS OF THE EAR AND TAKE OFF THE OUTER LAYERS OF SHUCK, PUT THEM IN PAPER GROCERY BAGS, AND TAPE THEM UP. BY DOING IT THIS WAY THE EARS ARE JUST AS SWEET TASTY A YEAR FROM NOW AS THEY ARE TODAY. WE HAD 6 EARS LEFT FROM LAST YEARS CROP FOR LUNCH YESTERDAY AND THEY TASTED JUST AS GOOD AS THE ONE'S WE GOT TODAY.
