Kevins is now a dealer for Southern Custom Rods

Post by dombern34 »

just wanted to let everyone know since most of the members on this forum are from the area, Kevin's Outdoors is now a dealer for Southern Custom Rods. they are currently carrying the new 2017 inshore model series! go check them out yourself, I promise you'll be pleased! if you don't see a length or action that you want, contact me and I'll make it happen.

remember, ALL SOUTHERN CUSTOM RODS are backed with a LIFETIME warranty. not a limited, but a lifetime. your grandkids kids, kids, Kids can break it and it'll still be covered.

there's not another rod in that store, academy, or bass pro that will cover that same warranty!

I appreciate everyone's support and business!

I will be by there. I broke a G Loomis over the weekend and I am waiting to see what they are going to do on the warranty. If your rods are similar in price to those and your warranty is better, I will be purchasing some.

Thanks for the heads-up.

they are selling in the store for 179.99. and yes sir the warranty is simple. if that rod breaks for whatever reason, just carry it back in there and swamp it out. no BS. I will replace Kevin's inventory with a new rod and you can get back to fishing the same exact day..

you won't be disappointed! the price of these rods are higher than what the average weekend warrior would normally pay but when I designed the rods I chose the actions that would make them very versatile for all applications of fishing which in turn would save you from having to buy multiple "less expensive" rods.

these rods are built off a St Croix SCIII blank, kegan Z series Semi micro guides (.01% failure rate), cork handle with the rubberized end to keep from pitting. Eva butt. Fuji VSS reel seat with trimmed threads for comfort. I would put these rods against a loomis NRX any day of the week. and crush their warranty at the same time.

all rods are perfectly balanced and tuned (spine'd) upon/prior building.

these are custom built rods built one at a time here in the USA. you won't find anything made in China with a lifetime warranty.
