Everything I'm reading points to "still dirty". I'll be at Lanark this Friday thru Wednesday.

I was there Father's Day weekend for three days and it was good clean water. St. Joe doesn't get a lot of runoff, so you should be good to go.

The exception would be over around the Intercoastal Waterway, and possibly along US-98 if you get a strong wind out of the West. The seagrass has come back pretty strong since last year's red tide around the State Park, Pig Isl. and Conch Isl., but not so much around Blacks Isl and the US-98 side (East).

We camped at the State Park and fished from the tip of the peninsula around to Presnell's. Did okay, but not great. The reds were in very shallow water, trout out a bit deeper in 2-3 feet, and many of the sand holes surrounded by seagrass held flounder. Some of the area back toward Conch Isl, we were not able to use treble hooked lures due to all the floating grass.

Hope this helps. - Steve Stinson

We were at cape san blas yesterday. Water was clear where we were.
We launched right past eagle harbor landing at the little picnic area.

That might be a good idea. It might clear up a little before Friday but I fished Lanark yesterday and it looked like coffee.. couldn't even see the sand areas in 2 ft of water. Still managed about a dozen trout but only two over 15". Good luck.
