For all you boys who went out yesterday, how badly stained was the river? And does stain affect redfishing around oyster bars as much as the stain affects the trout bite? Thinking about trying it this afternoon just wandering if st marks is worth it.

The water is badly stained all the way to about 8 miles South of the mouth. The reds shouldn't be bothered too much but I've been having to run way East and fish deep for the trout.

I got a slot red Friday on a bar before you get to the lighthouse, at about 8:30 am, dead high tide. After that went out to the flats and managed only two barely legal trout over the next six hours.
