. Did some rattling and grunting but no action. Tried several more times throughout the morning to no avail. So I just watched and waited. At 7:50 I looked to the top of the plot and saw a deer walking to the pines. I threw up the binoculars and saw it was a buck. As I was getting the gun up it stopped and glanced at the decoy. It started walking almost out of sight. I made a loud meh sound and it stopped just long enough for the shot. It ran 100 yards and piled up. 
. 141# 6pt. On to the afternoon. We put up the Christmas tree and then my wife got in the stand around 4:00. At the house visiting with my mom and around 5:30. BOOM!!! Wife gets her a nice 7 pt!
