Apalach Inshore

Post by Rbmcrae »

Please tell me someone else was on the water today that can tell me I’m not stupid and that the fishing was really hard!!!! Tried all my go-to spots and all I could find was low water with no grass or fish!!! Fished hard from 12-3 before giving up and heading to oyster city(not a bad second prize!)

Headed back out tomorrow from st george state park in search of grass and trout! If anyone has any reports and are willing to share I’d appreciate it bc it’s seldom I feel helpless on water but today was one of those days!!!

BUT!!!

Beer is cold and music is good at bowery!...no fish but good day as always in apalach!

Wish I could help but haven't had time to get down there. It won't be long though. What temp is the bay? OC Tap room and Lynn's in East Point are our after fishing hours favorites but you can't go wrong with the two you mentioned. We hit the Bowery often. Good luck tomorrow.
People that catch a lot of fish fish a lot!

Everything between 71-69 on flats today. Never saw anything higher or lower than that once inside 6 feet.

Hoping all the storms don’t have grass beds too messed up for this year. Going to some places tomorrow where I feel comfortable finding bottom that holds fish. Will tell me a low about status of the flats!
