Put in at the lighthouse around 4:00 p.m. Headed out west of the #1 buoy. Picked a couple of short trout. Worked our way back towards goose creek bay. Picked up a couple more shorts and finally 1 just barely keeper trout.

As the sun was setting, we headed up into one of the creeks in goose creek bay and chased a few redfish. Plenty of reds up that way , but they didn't seem very interested in what we were throwing. Finally my buddy hooked into one with a catch 2000. No sooner had the fight started when the big red wrapped him around a crab trap.

Oh well, great to be out there anyway. Can't wait until next time. Really looking forward to the Fall.
