Went out with Big Phishy on Saturday. Our original plan was to fish Dog Island reef, but wind and wave conditions would have made for an uncomfortable day. So we switched tactics and moved to the lee side of Dog Island where we picked up a few Trout, but it was a slow bite. We then decided to try the back side of St. George with good success. The bite was slow but steady. We caught a few keeper Trout and some slot Reds with a few short Trout and puppy Drum mixed in. A few of the fish were caught on topwater, but the majority were on soft plastics. The big Red of the day was 24" and the big Trout was 22", all fish were released to fight another day.
Water temps were in the mid to upper 60's with clarity of up to 6 feet.
Being able to sight fish from the poling platform was a treat.

Re: St. George success
Really surprised Jim and George found some. There are absolutely no fish on the back on those barrier islands.
Nice day and glad you're enjoying the new ride. That height advantage makes all the difference in the world.
