Gotta make a decision quickly whether to go tomorrow(Friday). NOAA looks good, Intellicast looks so-so, Navy wave data is confusing.
Aggregate says light chop, W mostly from the W.

for petes sake
The Navy is looking at the low presure trough that is riding a ridge behind Bonnie. It will probably get a little rough as the day goes on tomorrow
But hey, ya never know unless ya try

I was thinkin' I might get a couple of hours in before t-storms or roughage. I sure as heck have my doubts about the forecasters. NEVE R on the same page. Comcast weatherscan beach and boat is 'temporarily unavailable. Same folks that describe the 'palmer drought severity' in central GA as 'severe', and a date as of August 10!!!
I think I should go back to college and get a degree in meteorology, get a crystal ball and meet some hot babes, maybe slap Jim Cantore one time.

friday
I have been knawing on the same question. I took today and tommorrow off from work with plans on spending both at the lighthouse. Today was a bust but I was still considering braving it tommorrow morning. I think Im gonna stay ashore however. Bonnie has moved right along and is out of our way its actually sunny now. But I'm afraid Charley will creep on up and make the seas rough late tommorrow . It seems thats what the NAVY predictions are showing. I guess it depends on how far north it comes tonight. I usually go with what the NAVY says I figure they should know if anybody they live on ships for petes sake!!! It seems like you might be able to get a little fishing done early but I doubt a half or full day is possible and I dont want to get down there only to have to come home after an hour or two.
Maybe Saturday will be ok if charlie moves inland soon.
I was also wandering if anybody knew what the storm might do to the fishing. Im thinking it could stir stuff up and be good kinda like a real strong tide, or it could throw everything out of wack for a few days , like the fish might all be up in the creeks or out in deeper water, any ideas anybody?? It definatley seems like the water would be really murky.
just my two cents
