Speaking of reefs (Dog Bollard)
Went there Sunday to mess around since the weather was good and the inshore fishing was slow. Didn’t get a bite except a large shark that broke me off. I had squid and live pins on bottom and live pin free lined while chumming and nothing. This is the second time I’ve been out there with the same results. Has anyone had any luck out there at all?

It gets hit by the divers pretty regular.

I haven't fished out there in years, but might try again soon. There are a few others just about as close but they probably get hit hard as well.

Had some cobia action out there a few weeks ago. Caught some undersize, but saw another fellow put a big one in the boat

That’s what I was targeting. I did have a huge cobia swim by the boat on a ray on my rock bass hole but couldn’t get him to eat. My girlfriend caught the biggest rock bass I’ve ever seen personally. He went 15”. The big one compared to a Redfishgeofish wrote: June 2nd, 2021, 10:08 pm Had some cobia action out there a few weeks ago.
