Hi Everyone,
I was away all summer and am going to try to get into the flats off the lighthouse tomorrow morning in my little jonboat.
What's the word after the storm? Has anyone been out?
I've only been here a couple years and don't know what to expect after a big storm like that. I would be grateful for any information.
Also, has Scott (at Jerry's) had live shrimp lately?
Thanks in advance!

I haven't been out since the storm but from past experience I would say the water is going to be stained and murky.
When I went by Jerry's yesterday afternoon on the way home from work he had up on his sign that the live shrimp have arrived.
Hope this helps.

An angler is a man who spends rainy days sitting around on the muddy banks of rivers doing nothing because his wife won't let him do it at home.

Sunday the water on the east flats was a little tea colored but I could see bottom in 7 feet of water just fine. Water had cooled down quite a bit. We caught 3 keeper trout in 30 minutes not really trying.
Last I heard Jerry's was getting a few shrimp, but they were selling out very quickly.
