Question on Boating Insurance and Accessories

Post by mojokoko »

What boat insurance company is the most reliable? I will have 16 foot skiff with a 4 stroke motor. Also is there an online site to buy eletronics for your boat and show you how to install them or something?

I picked mine up on my auto and homeowners policy. USAA, ~ $30.00 a month. See if you can add it on to your current auto ins.

I have heard Boat US is pretty good.

I had insurance with Boat U.S. I made one claim when I hit a rock with my lower unit, insurance covered it but my premium went WAY up after that. Needless to say I am no longer with them.

I have never had a claim, but for the written policy I don't complain about Progressive for 300 a year.
