Things were slow today. Stopped at the bouy to catch bait. Not much there, but we managed about 2 dozen. Ran to where we caught fish last week. Went through all our live bait, and 2 boxes of LY's. Lots of shorts, and lots of bait snatchers today. Managed 1 31" red grouper. My brother-in-law went with me today. It's been a while since he and I have fished together. He's good company, and we enjoyed the trip. The highlight of the day was when he brought a 6' nurse shark to the boat. We let the shark swim away with the hook and 6" of leader.

Good company and pleasant weather. It was a good day. Nothing lost, and nothing broke.
What was I supposed to do today?

Nice. Looked like you had a good day weather wise. You just HAVE to 'work' a new boat! How was the water?

Sounds like you all had fun. It's always good to fish in good company.
