Water temp at boat basin at 8 AM was 78.2. 3 PM on the flats was 82.4....
Winds hard out of the east, 15 MPH in the morning, laying some in the PM
Water was clear but STAINED-from the color of sweet tea to weak (black) coffee in places...
Fish were scattered, never did "find" them...
Sharks were EVERYWHERE, and I mean BIG sharks... saw 8 sharks at 9-mile, all were 6'+...
Caught a few of these, as well as one big stockwell...

Worked hard for one limit of trout, released another limit...
Good day on the water with my Dad, and THAT beats a day at the office anytime.
Scott

Edit: Caught all trout on (mostly) live shrimp, one on white/firetail grub. Pinfish were good only for sharks. Best water depth was 4-6 feet, nothing deeper, nothing shallower.

Nice report! Congrats on all those trout, too! Sounds like fun for you and your dad, and that's especially fun. What kind of shark is that headless guy holding? And were you freelining those shrimp?

Good deal, Scott. It's always good to spend quality time with your dad.
What was I supposed to do today?
