Thanks for the advice. However I have plenty of safe places to fish depending on wind direction. The se wind projection is great for shoreline and creek fishing. Most of the creeks have the deepest access on the west side. This allows you to cast with the wind into the fish highways as you cross the mouth of the creek or anchor on the east side and fish across it.
Sounds like you have a good plan for a windy day. Thanks for sharing your windy days strategy. Tell us how you do, and get a picture if possible!

Sorry it has taken so long to report. First of all the weather was great. Had to use the trolling motor part of the time.I am finally over the shock of almost getting skunked in a tournament. We decided to fish Econfina on some favorite bars and creeks for our trout and reds. Water was black coffee colored. The bite was non-existent. 12 pinfish,3 skipjacks,2 catfish, 2 stingrays, 1 14" trout, 1 18" redfish. Fished topwater, straight grubs,ct,jerbaits, shrimp on bottom, shrimp on ct,live pinfish, pinfish pieces and parts, skipjack pieces and parts nothing worked. Got back to the ramp when 6 other boats came in. Between the 6 other boats they had 1 legal rockbass. No more Econfina for me until the water changes color.
