St Joe 10-31

Post by Littoral »

Fished all morning inside the park along the flats outside the cabins.
Slow fish day but an interesting list:
Tom Tate 1
Black Sea Bass 3
Gags 4
Lady Fish 1, ~ 5 lbs!
Bluefish 2, ~ 3lbs
Trout 3 shorts

I kept a live pinfish in the water the whole time ((4 hours) & it did nothing.
Going there is pure pleasure. The water is crystal clear and the diversity of inverts on the bottom is great to watch.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

St Joe Bay has to be the prettiest place in this area. Btw, what is a Tom Tate?
What was I supposed to do today?

Small baitfish sort of like a cross between a pinfish and a grunt. They are excellent grouper bait.
