Two of us got a late start, didn't bother looking for live bait. Barely a two foot chop running out. Fished from 50-80 feet. Only boxed 2 reds and 2 gags. LOTS of red snapper released from 60 feet on out. Came back in early, smooth as glass. Water temp 76, fair clarity, high tide 10 am.

Sounds like a lot more activity than we saw on Sunday. Great report! Too bad the Snapper weren't a week ago.

Good Job Bones-

How far did you travel to to get to the deep water?
What did you end up using for bait?

thanks-

MJ, we were between 15 and 20 miles south of the bell buoy. Most of the snapper came off frozen cigar minnows, the grouper off 1/2 frozen LY's.
