Inshore Fly Rod Setup

I want to start this season out using a saltwater fly rod/reel. When I lived in NC I used to use one on small brook and brown trout.

What is the best setup for inshore fishing in our area? i.e. rod size, line weight, amount of backing, reel size, leaders? Any info would be great.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

7-9 wt...depends on the flies you like to throw
