Good to know they're still out there somewhare, RF.
'Have to believe, the metro guys forcast the seas last and over forcast for CYA purposes. That, and probably the junior guys working NY's weekend.
The Navy has been forcasting 0-2' for the past few days and the next couple, contrary to the NWS.
'Glad to hear y'all had a good day.

Yeah RF, Chalk. Got the link on the BBF Wx page..pretty comprehenive for our local needs.
Not to steer you away from it, here's another couple of good sources of weather links.

One I used, when I was still working for a living- Mostly for flight planning purposes, but it has lots of other interesting stuff.

And, another good one, but keyed on tropical weather.

I like the Navy forcast, because of their sophisticated data gathering capability. Read about it here.

Sounds like a fun trip! Being mostly inshore, I am especially jealous of the flounder, of all things. As for that grouper, though, let me tell you about this: http://bigbendfishing.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5623
