Favorite Plastic lure colors...
What are some of your favorite soft plastic lure colors for trout and redfish? List colors and manufactures. This is for one of the Social sponsors.

Yeah Chalk, you've got some of my favs on your list, as well as those of Randy Peart. For spring fishing Randy is especially big on chartreuse lead-heads along with Bass/Salt Water Assassin tails, especially anything pearly like the crystal minnow or sea shad. If the water is dark and dirty, then he goes to candy corn or the pink and white grubs. He likes the colors that are closest to "natural" for clear water and the bright contrasting colors like candy corn for more dingy water.

Went out and rooted through my big box I keep in the boat....Kinda amazed me how many different kinds of plastics I had....Never had given it much thought before......
Here are some I absolutely don't leave the hill without:
SWA Silver Mullet
SWA Treuse Goose
SWA Electric Chicken
SWA Red/Gold Shiner
SWA Pinfish
SWA Cajun Croaker
All of these are 4" split tails
Keep a real good stock of all these plus probably twenty more different plastic baits.....Makes you realize how much of an investment you can accumulate without really thinking much about it.......
