Lanark 3/4

Post by craSSh »

One short of a limit...Launched at about 9:30. The bite was slow at some good spots, and the ones that bit were all shorts. On the way to another spot we marked good bottom in 60 ft. This spot produced 4 nice keepers then nothing. Went on to another spot and on the way marked somemore good bottom, this spot produced 2 more nice keepers. We fished hard all day and were rewarded when the bite picked up late in the afternoon. Total tally: 20 gags, 4 reds, and a couple of grunts and rock bass. The biggest gag was 15 lbs. and the big red was 10 lbs. Weather was nice today ( a whole lot better than yesterday, wet and overcast with periods of light rain... total for yesterday 7 keeper gags). Picture of Friday's catch...
