Econfina 3-5&3-6
Sorry I couldn't post sooner, but I've been fishing.
My brother and I fished east of Econfina Saturday and Sunday. We fished the flats saturday really hard. All we got was one nice flounder. Moved into one of our favorite creeks and the bite was on. 35-40 trout all 18-20 inches long. All caught on Calcasieu Brew and Funky Chicken jerk baits.
Sunday same creek same bait 19 keepers all 16-171/2. Bummer, we needed the bigger fish on Sunday.
That pontoon boat works great in the creeks.
Water temp got up to 59.

I told you all
I am surprised that JT didn't mention the biggest catch on Saturday
It had something to do with backing the trailer off the end of the ramp and then his brother doing some fancy boat handling while troll'n with the anchor to hook the back of the trailer. Then lift'n the back of the trailer up and driving ahead with the boat carry'n the trailer and the truck pull'n ahead to get the trailer back on the ramp.....
IS THERE ANY THING THOSE TAYLOR BOYS CAN'T DO WITH A BOAT??
I SAW THEM!![]()

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

What Sir Reel says is true. The water was lower than low. WE did not know where the end of the ramp was and therefore backed off it. If anyone is interested we will explain how we saved the day and the trailer. My guess is, one day you too will need to know.
In fact: I suggest we have a save the trailer seminar one day.
Any takers?

A trailer isn't all that heavy when in the water, hooking the trailer with the anchor, you should be able to just pick up while the trailer is pulled forward
