Fished the mouth of the East River and Goose creek bay today. Caught 7 redfish to 28", 6 trout to 19", and 1 - 13" flounder. Caught the reds, the flounder, and most of the trout on strike kings' "redfish magic". Caught the rest of the trout on a broken back redfin and grubs under a cajun thunder. Water was muddy everywhere we went. Temp gauge said the water was 70.5*, but I'm not sure I believe it.

Good catch, birddog. I'm not sure I believe 70 degrees, either. But, if it's accurate, things should start happening.......for those that have time to fish. :-?
What was I supposed to do today?

Holey Moley! Very nice! Glad I didn't see this when it was first posted or I wouldn'ta got anything done!

I think I'll take a minute lookin' up those lures, look at a chart, and daydream.

UPDATE: Here's the Redfish Magic, formerly secret weapon>>
