From the FS site :-D
think I was the only idiot who fished Saturday morning out of Econfina. Visibily was ok running out of mouth (FOG) but I was in a hurry due to a low tide a- commmin!! Got out to one of my good spots (east of the mouth) and started catchin fish. Must have caught 20+ before first keeper. Then the storms came and thank goodness for good rain gear!! Mild to moderate rain with thunder. Our dog layed down under my wife and I, and stayed the dryest in the boat. Rain stopped and we started fishing. Funny how you loose track of your position with fog, rain, tidal movements and wind. I swore up and down that we were east of the Econfina and catching fish but GPS said different. We really caught out limit (west of mouth) in about 20 min but all the fish were 15 1/4 to 16 1/2! No big fish at all but alot of fun. Many double headers!! Headed in around 11:30 and went home. Fun but wet day!!

The game warden checked us at the Aucilla ramp Saturday about 3pm. He had just come from Econfina and said everyone there had lots of good fish.
