Electric Chicken Rigging

Post by astewart »

OK, I am trying to figure out the best way to rig an electric chicken and what size hook to use. I usually don't throw artificials but next week I want to try my luck at it. A picture would be good.

Thanks

Are you referring to a jig or a jerk bait?

Jig rigged like any other, run the hook through...

Jerk bait, weightless is rigged like a texas rigged bass worm....you can also rig it with a weight as well, but it doesn't work on trout, trust me

With a Jig, I just have not used these for trout, been using livebait under a CT or popping cork and having pretty good success.

However reading on most of the fishing boards the Jigs seem to be producing pretty well. Need to expand my horizons.
