Put in at the ramp @ 2:30 pm and got in just in front of the showers at 5:00pm caught a limit of trout pretty quickly.Used CT and candy corn/electric chicken combos . Had 15-20 shorts.Several double hookups. Lots of fun in a short time. Water temp was 66 and slightly stained.

  Great report! We fished there yesterday morning and didn't do anything. We finally left about 2:30 and only had 1 fish in the box. You're the second guy we heard about limiting out between 4 and 5 o'clock, so they had to bite late. We got rained on leaving the ramp, did you get any rain?

Brand new here and to saltwater fishing. I've been trying to learn as much as possible so far from reading ya'lls reports. One thing I can't figure out: what's a "CT" ? I'm hoping to start chasing after trout and reds this year and am working on figuring out what lure arsenal to put together. Thanks -

Dave7 Welcome aboard.Im kinda new to the flats fishing myself, only about 2 years experience.Ive learned alot here. CT means Cajun Thunder cork. The large weighted popping corks seen in the saltwater section of Walmarts or tackle stores. Ive done very well with a CT with about a two foot leader attached to a red jig head and Salt water assassin.Pretty simple fishing. Chunk it out pop it two three times and wait for fish. :D repeat as needed Goodluck.

Wellcome Dave :smt006 We get to throw'n acronyms and abreviations around (amoung other things :D ) quite a bit. When your not sure about something feel free to ask just as you did. I think I'm safe in saying we don't have anyone on this forum that will try to talk down to you for asking  :D
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Thanks for the definition - I'm hoping to get down to Wakulla Bch tomorrow morning and see if anything's bitting. Not sure how windy it's going to be though.
