Hey Unka Dave, Just home here in Carrabelle a little while, and got a 'two year old', following me around, so haven't had much chance to make an analysis of the situation.
It appears the low and associated cold front to arrive Wed/Thurs will be pretty weak, compared with the system of late last week.
It may not produce much rain, if any at all. The Wx Bureau and the Wx Chan are saying 30/20% chc of precip Wed.
Like I've said before, I prefer to look at it, as a 70/80% chc it won't happen.
Unless there is a big change between now(Sun nite) and Tues evening, I'd probably go (and might).
The seas fcst for Wed is for 2-4 and light-mod chop, which may not happen either; particularly if the shwrs and tstms don't materialize.
I like the looks of this fcst for the Apalachicola Airport as produced by FSU.

'Think me and the son in law will be, giving it a in the morning and either Tues or Wed.
Good luck and remember, I ain't no metrologist, so look the forcast over real good, before you go....Good luck.

Thanks QO and all

For the wx info. I am planning a charter (big bend) out of Steinhatchee on Wed. I don't have my boat ready, but the fish fever is rather high.
Sorta hard to out guess the wx 3 or 4 days in advance , but Wed looks as good as any 3 day out.
There had been 2 strong fronts in 7 days . I have often noticed that 2 strong systems often are followed by a calming. About like 2 big waves are often followed by a lull. Your boat rides over the first and then sticks in the second.
