High Tide

Post by dave7 »

Did anybody else see how high the water was piled up this afternoon? Had the afternoon off and drove down to Wakulla Beach hoping to fish during the clearing afternoon and geez the water just kept coming in. The little trail that heads out to the oyster bars was knee deep and the water and waves were flowing up the boat "ramp" and down the road. The three of us who were down there attempting to fish each had to move our jeep / car because of the incoming water. Didn't do much for fishing as the water was everywhere but where it usually is.

Anybody get out in a boat? The winds stayed high even after the clouds cleared up.

When all that water starts to recede, you could flat work on some redfish around Wakulla Beach.
