Fished both days. Got out at daylight Saturday. A bit choppy with a steady east wind. Caught 3 good keper trout early. Caught over 50 short trout. Finally limited at 5:00, just before the storm hit. Most of these fish were caught on a Cajun Thunder. Got a late start Sunday. On the water at 10:00 A.M. It was slick as glass. With a low tide around noon, I stayed out from shore. Caught a limit of keeper trout, including 1 24" fish, the first hour. Caught near 50 short trout, again. Caught the better fish on a floating Bomber Mullet, working it very slow. Caught 1 cobia (35.5" to the fork) on a jig. Watched him take it 5' from the boat. The fight was on. There was more bait fish in the area than I have ever seen. Hard to fish artificials and compete with the real deal.
