I'm tired from a weekend of fishing so I'll keep this short. Launched the "Seminole Classic" at Econfina with my brother and 8 year old nephew about 12:30pm. When we hit the mouth of the river the wind was blowing strong out of the NNE. Started our drift about 1.5 miles past the tripod. In a matter of 4 hours the three of us caught a total of 90 trout. (My nephew counted every one as they were caught.) Of the 90 - 15 were keepers. We also caught a 13.5" flounder and 1 ladyfish. We had a blast. Nearly all were caught on a DOA under CT's.

If you don't mind sharing the information,... what direction from the tripod were you 1.5 miles?
That was a good trip. The wind never did quit blowing while we were there. It was supposed to subside in the afternoon but we left about 1700. I was real proud of the youngun - he takes his own his fish off and re-baits when needed. The only thing we don't trust him doing is measuring the fish - to him there all big enough.
